Rakhi making competition in Academy

Jamshedpur : Rakhi Making Competition was organized at RVS Academy campus with the aim of celebrating Rakshabandhan and enhancing creativity among the students. The Rakhis made by the children will be sent to the army personnel deployed on the border and remote areas. School Chairman Binda Singh, Principal Visha Mohindra, Vice-Principal Anita Tiwari, teachers and students were present on this occasion.
On the occasion, Chairman Binda Singh said that this is a great initiative to celebrate the festival of love and relationship between brothers and sisters. Meaning of sending Rakhi to the soldiers deployed on the border a symbol of solidarity and respect for the real heroes. Children enthusiastically participated in the inter house rakhi making competition. They made beautiful rakhis, for decoration used threads, stars, mirrors, beads, flowers etc. The winners of the competition were given certificates.
